ABS Ltd is a UKAS accredited Asbestos Surveying practice, based in Scotland and provide a nationwide cover.
We offer a surveying and sampling service to many organisations, and look to develop long term relationships with meaningful and tangible benefits to all.
We have an uncompromising approach to the issue of asbestos surveying; our clients range from small independent practices to huge multinationals. Indeed, we act for companies who have the largest market share of their industry in Europe. Their property portfolio is entrusted to us and they have vetted and audited us to an extent where we have been chosen as their sole supplier.
We have surveyed everything from domestic properties, hospitals, school and factories to power stations, castles, distilleries and much more.
We have been accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) since 2007 to undertake Management Surveys (formerly known as type 2) and Refurbishment / Demolition Surveys (formerly known as type 3).
We have achieved membership and accreditation of all relevant professional bodies and have the fortunate, but not complacent, position of knowing that the majority of our clients have been recommended to us.
We are also members of UKATA (United Kingdom Asbestos Training Association) and can provide a variety of bespoke training services to suit any clients' requirements. We host monthly Asbestos Awareness Training courses from our training venue in East Kilbride, and provided asbestos talks and training to electricians, surveyors, plumbing & heating engineers, architects, RICS members, the Chartered Insurance Institute (Glasgow) and many more.
Our expertise has been invited at The BRE Building to The Subsidence Forum in London, The Mitchell Library in Glasgow (Insurance & Actuarial Society of Glasgow) and the Glasgow Concert Hall (RICS members).
We are listed in the Insurance Directories, and the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters website. We also attend local CII events and attend the annual Gala Dinner.
